For over 35 years, The Synapse Dance Theater at Santa Monica College has contributed to the cultural life of the Greater Los Angeles Area by performing “innovative dance presentations” to the masses.

The Contemporary Dance Ensemble has previously performed in theatres around the world, including several states throughout the country as well as studying abroad in England, France and Switzerland.

The dancers of the Synapse Dance Theatre were extremely fortunate to have the infamous artistic director, Linda Gold who has been praised by the New York Times for her work, describing her artistic direction as “having a scale of epic”.

On Saturday, May 30th, 2009 all of the efforts of the dancers and the artistic director came to life on the Broad Stage at Santa Monica College.

It was a phenomenal performance and effort by all of the dancers at the Synapse Dance Theatre.
