Week nine of the Twilight Dance Series at the Santa Monica Pier brought some high powered bands on Sept. 1, 2011.   Up and coming band Olio started the evening followed by Sonny and the Sunsets.  Malibu band Dawes headlined the event and brought a few friends onstage including Blake Mills and Jackson Browne.

This Thursday, New Orleans style rock and roll will wrap up the annual Twilight Dance Series event at the Santa Monica Pier which starts at 7 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m.
