WOMENS SOCCER TIES WITH CITRUS COLLEGE

The SMC Corsairs took on Citrus College Friday, Oct. 8, at Santa Monica College. From the start the the Corsairs took the immediate lead and held that lead until half time with a score of 3-1 in favor of the Corsairs. Out of the half, Citrus College found a few ways to score a couple goals while holding the corsairs off from scoring on theirs. The game ultimately ended in a tie as neither team was able to conjure up any functional plays to put them ahead before the buzzer. The Corsairs now with a record of 2-5-3, will take on Bakersfield College Friday Oct. 15, at Santa Monica College.
