Corsairs Take Second Win Of Season

The Santa Monica Corsairs Men’s Soccer team played their second home game of the 2022 season against the Los Angeles Harbor College Seahawks, in which they took home a 4-0 win over the rival school. 

Alexander Lalor (24), took the first goal of the game for the Corsairs and was assisted by Javier Mendoza (2) and Marcus Hevesy-Rodriguez (20). Taj Winnard (17), Javier Mendoza, and Roey Kivity (10) scored the remaining goals.

As the Corsairs dominated the Seahawks, California’s brutal heat wave signaled its end with temperatures dipping into the mid 90s and light rain. Their next home game is against the Rio Hondo College Roadrunners on Friday, September 23 at Corsair Field.
