The event aimed to educate urban communities on how microforests work and how to get involved in increasing the biodiversity of any space.

In honor of Earth Week, Trailmothers hosted a Clean and Climb event on Saturday, April 9, at Stoney Point Park, located at the north end of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Just a few minutes before 11 a.m., organizations begin to occupy the empty tables lining the walkway in front of Santa Monica College’s library. As SMC’s various eco-themed clubs set up and decorate their booths, a few students stop and linger, curious about the unfolding displays before them.
