Monday Oct. 13 is Indigenous Peoples Day in the United States. President Trump has recently issued a proclamation to "reclaim" the day, also known as Columbus Day, for the explorers legacy. Reporter Jeffrey Berrios sat down with SMC's Indigenous Scholars Club Founder and Co-President Sequoyah Thiessen to learn more about the day and what it means to her.
