China flag raised in Los Angeles

This past Sunday on April 24th the China Unity Association of Greater Los Angeles USA tried to raise a chines flag in China town but its President Peter Lau and his Vice President Vincent Wu and Chi Hui Peng raised the communist Chinese flag atop a building on Bamnp Lane in Chinatown in Los Angeles. The last time a Chinese flag was raised was in 1984 but failed as a group of anti-communists tore it down.

This time they got it up and you can check out the great pictures that was taken by the Corsair of the raising of the flag.

But this even was not nice smiles and laughs as protesters arrived at the Los Angeles Japanese Consulate to protest against Japan's bid for permanent seat at the UN Security Council
