2018 Men's Soccer Early Season Recap
After a 14-4-5 2017 season, the Santa Monica College Men’s Soccer team is off to an impressive 5-1 start in 2018. Coach of seven years Tim Pierce said they have a good group and they’re used to winning some games from last year.
Womens soccer off to a strong start
Womens soccer was off to an amazing start until SBCC ends a four game win streak. Returning as Western State Conference champions for the first time in history with an impressive 15 wins, three losses and two ties. The Corsairs' goal is to push to even higher levels and uphold the program’s high personal, academic, and competitive standards.
Coastal Clean-Up Day
Grab some sun screen, a hat, a few friends, and a water bottle and head down to the beach this weekend Saturday, September 15, and join the Coastal Clean Up Day effort! SMC students and staff will gather together on Pico and Bay Street in Santa Monica from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. to help clean up our beach. Free parking and water will be available for those attending the event.

The City Welcomes LAFC
The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is making their presence known, not only in Major League Soccer (MLS) but in the city of L.A. itself. LAFC is off to a very strong start in MLS as number four in the Western Conference, just two wins behind the number one seed Sporting Kansas City. This is nothing short of an impressive beginning for a team that is brand new to the league and city.
